It also offers a degree of luxury in that the itineraries are for individuals of two or more. The mode of transport is a car with driver. The car & driver are available for sightseeing at the destinations. Thus you have the flexibility of independent travel with hotels that you can pre-book in advance. The above would mean Delhi - Agra - Jaipur section is done for individuals using a private car & driver, Jaipur - Udaipur - Delhi is done by using internal flights and Delhi - Varanasi is done by train (generally in AC 2 Tier or AC 3 Tier unless stated otherwise).
