Nepal is a land of incredible mountain scenery and amazing flora & fauna. It has temples of great architechtural merit, excellent wildlife parks such as The Royal Chitwan National Park (famous for its rhinos) and unparalleled beauty of the Annapurna range of mountains on the western side as can be viewed from Pokhara and its environs. You can enter the country by flying into Kathmandu or enter from the Indian border at Sunauli or Kakharbhitta (Pl ensure that you have the valid visas for travel to the country and adjoining areas & countries). We have put together some suggested trips for visitors to Nepal. For those with very little time, 'The Nepal Welcome' allows you to explore Kathmandu. For those with the luxury of a week's stay in Nepal can cover 'The Nepal Highlights' Itinerary covering: Kathmandu, Chitwan & Pokhara. In this trip you have the option of returning to Kathmandu or continuing on to the Indian border. If you have the luxury of more time, then a trek would be the best way to enjoy the country. Trekking in Nepal


Nepal is land of incredible mountain scenery and amazing flora & fauna. To explore the true beauty & rural culture one must undertake a trek. A simple short trek in the Kathmandu Valley such as Shivapuri trek can be an excellent taster of Himalayan trekking for those with limited time. There are many short treks in the Pokhara region. The Ghandrung trek is such an example. All the treks are for individuals of two or more. They are based on a full board basis inclusive of trekking equipment, porters, cook & guide (Note: Sleeping bags can be hired from our ground agent's office. The costs indicated also include the trekking permit & conservation fee as applicable. However, you may wish to carry your own sleeping bag). They start from Kathmandu.





Some possibilities are listed below. Overnight would be in a two person tent at each destination on trek itinerary unless stated otherwise.

NAGARKOT AND THE SHIVAPURI TREK (3 NIGHTS / 4 DAYS)


DRIVE FROM KATHMANDU - NAGARKOT (Overnight in hotel) - CHISOPANI - SHIVAPURI - BUDHANILKANTHA. DRIVE BACK TO KATHMANDU AFTER ARRIVING AT BUDHANILKANTHA. Tour concludes on arrival in Kathmandu.

POKHARA AND THE ROYAL TREK (5 NIGHTS / 6 DAYS)


BUS FROM KATHMANDU - POKHARA (Overnight in hotel) - KALIKATHAN OR THULOKOT - SYAGLUNG - CHISOPANI - POKHARA (Overnight in hotel). Trip concludes.

GHANDRUNG TREK (5 NIGHTS).


Kathmandu - Pokhara by bus. Overnight stay at Hotel Green View. Start 5 days trek and camp at each destination on trek itinerary. POKHARA - TIRKHEDUNGHA - GHORAPANI - GHANDRUNG - PATHENA - POKHARA. Tour concludes on arrival to Pokhara.

JOMSON TREK (7 NIGHTS)

Kathmandu - Pokhara by bus. Overnight stay at Hotel Green View. Start 7 days trek and camp at each destination on trek itinerary.
POKHARA - TIRKHEDUNGHA - GHORAPANI - TATOPANI - KALOPANI - JOMSON (CAMP FOR 2 NIGHTS) (JOMSON - MUKTINATH - JOMSON (DAY TRIP)): Trek concludes.




Kathmandu Stopover + Varanasi + Delhi Stopover + Golden Triangle + Goa (7 nts) (19 nts). Start in Kathmandu and conclude in Goa.
