Mumbai: This city is: the engine of India; heart of the Indian cinema (referred to as Bollywood: Indian film factory producing more films than Hollywood); the home of cricket to many Indians (Take a walk down the Mumbai Maidan, a red turf park where nearly 5 - 10 cricket matches are played right next to each other); shoppers delight. It has many sights such as elephanta caves, museums, Marine drive and a mix of old architechture with buildings such as Mumbai Victoria Terminus (now called Mumbai CSTM), Mumbai Churchgate along with buildings which are typically that of Mumbai.
Varanasi: Bathing ghats of Varanasi are one of greatest images of India. Taking a boat ride along the Ganges in the morning is an experience not to be missed. Other sights include: Kashi Vishwanath temple, Benares Hindu University and a visit to Sarnath (the buddhist pilgrimage point).
Goa: Notable for its' beaches, mapusa market and easy going life-style.
