Indian Railway Train Times.
The Indian railway system is a vast network. It involves:-
- 60,700 km of rail tracks.
- 7000 railway stations.
- 10,000 passenger trains.
- 12 million passenger traffic daily.
- Special trains such as the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, The Konkan
Railway, Shimla & Ootacamund railways(See section on scenic rides.
In such a vast network it is impossible to cover the entire timetable
of trains. However, we have managed to broadly split up the major tourist
routes under 7 broad headings. Just click on the region that you require.
