West Coast Supreme: Why not cover the excellent beaches of Palolem
in Goa and Gokarna in Karnataka and tie it in with a trip on the Keralan
backwaters, cover the spice hills & the interesting hill stations
of South India (Munnar, Ooty & Madikeri) along with a visit to the

Palolem: Excellent beach in Southern Goa.
Kerala Backwaters: Travelling by boat along the Kerala backwaters
is an experience not to be missed. The backwaters is an amazing network
of lakes, canals, lagoons and rivers and coconut trees on the banks. You
can view chinese fishing .nets and small village settlements along the
narrow strips of land along the route.
Cochin: A inter-connection of islands. Diverse places to view such
as The Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace, Fort Cochin. An excellent
place to view Kathakali dancing (a unique motion of body and the facial
Periyar wildlife Park: Built around an artificial lake and very
close to the spice hills this wildlife park has a spectacular setting.
It is an excellent retreat to view wildlife and enjoy the setting. Various
animals can be found such as bison, monkey, sambar, antelopes. The most
exciting viewing is that of elephants walking along the banks of the waters.
Munnar: This is a highly under-rated hill station in India at 1520
m. Surrounded by green rolling hills and with tea growing estates, it
is an excellent retreat from the travels.
Ootacamund: Hill station in South India made famous by the little
narrow gauge rack & pinion railway connecting Mettupalayam and Ootacamund.
Mysore:Maharajah's Palace, Chamundi Hills, Brindavan Gardens, Jag
Mohan Palace, important centre for sandalwood & silk products.
Madikeri: Excellent Hill station in the Coorg region known for
its cofee plantations..
Gokarna: Excellent beach shaped in the form of the Indian 'Om'
sign in Northern Karnataka.

- CANACONA (for Palolem): Take the day time scenic train journey
from Mumbai Canacona : 1140 - 2300. 3 nights at Palolem.
|| Local train to Madgaon. Catch
overnight train from Madgaon - Cochin: 2020 - 1055*.
||Cochin. Arrive in Cochin for
two nights stay. Start modified
version of Backwaters, Cochin, Spice Hills & Munnar. Direct

to add Ooty, Mysore & Madikeri in the Coorg region. Arrival
transfer from Cochin railway station to hotel.
||COCHIN. Day Free in Cochin.
||COCHIN ALLEPEY - PERIYAR. Driver
from Cochin to Allepey to board a private motorboat for the
backwaters trip. Then drive on to Periyar for 2 nights
||PERIYAR. Car & driver available
for sightseeing of Periyar lakes and surrounding spice hills
||PERIYAR - MUNNAR. Morning at leisure.
Then drive on to Munnar for 2 nights stay.
||MUNNAR. Car & driver available
for sightseeing of Munnar. Munnar is an excellent hill station
known for its walks.
||MUNNAR OOTACAMUND. Drive from
Munnar to Ootacamund for overnight stay. Afternoon available
for sightseeing of Ootacamund or possible take a local toy

onto Mysore for 2 nights stay. Afternoon visit the Maharajahs
Palace & then proceed to Brindavan Gardens for the evening
lit gardens. Then return to hotel.

for full day sightseeing including a visit to Srirangapatnam
& Chamundi hills and Jagmohan Palace.
||MYSORE MADIKERI. Then drive
from Mysore to Madikeri in the Coorg region. This is an excellent
hill station amidst coffee plantations.
||MADIKERI MANGALORE GOKARNA.
Then drive from Madikeri to Mangalore. Catch
daytime scenic train journey to Gokarna station: 1440
- 1820. Stay for 4 nights at Resort near Om Beach at Gokarna.
||GOKARNA MUMBAI. Catch night
train from Gokarna - Mumbai: 1800 - 0635*.
Arrive in Mumbai by train. Trip concludes on arrival in Mumbai.

Note: There is likely to be a peak season supplement for travel dates
which fall between 20 Dec 2014 - 15 Jan 2015 and for dates falling between
01 - 28 Feb 15.
Why not combine the trip with an overnight stay on a houseboat. Supplement
cost is GBP 45 per person on a twin share basis.
Not included: International air travel.

Note: The rates have not been updated since 2016 season, as there has been
a violent change in the exchange rates ever since the Brexit Vote. We have left
the rates as per 2015 - 16 season to give you something of an idea. For current

Note: All products in the website are being reviewed in view of the current

unable to recommend travel from the UK to the majority of the countries in Asia
that we deal with. We are hoping that the situation will improve (not only for

the thousands of people connected with the travel trade who are more than just
