Hampi: The seat of the once great Vijaynagar empire is an archaelogical master-piece. Strewn with bolder rock this town is worth a wander for all travellers.
Mysore:Maharajah's Palace, Chamundi Hills, Brindavan Gardens, Jag Mohan Palace, important centre for sandalwood & silk products.
Madurai: Dravidian temple architechture at its best. A temple town with all the activities concentrated around the temple. Other sights worth visiting are Tirumalai Nayakar Palace.
Tiruchi: Temple town of Tamil Nadu known for the Rock Fort temple, Srirangam temple & Jambukeshwara temple.
Cochin: A inter-connection of islands. Diverse places to view such as The Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace, Fort Cochin. An excellent place to view Kathakali dancing (a unique motion of body and the facial features).
Goa: Known for its beaches, mapusa market and easy going life-style.

Detailed itinerary is given below:
Day Itinerary
01 BOMBAY - HOSPET (for Hampi) via Guntakal. Train from Bombay to Guntakal: 1400 - 0630*.
02 HOSPET (for Hampi). Arr Guntakal 0630 hrs. Local train to Hospet. Note: If there is no connecting train this section has to be done by road (Note: Cost of road journey not included). Two night' stay at hotel.
04 HOSPET - MYSORE via Bangalore. Train: Hospet - Mysore: 1940 - 1000*.
05 MYSORE. Arr Bangalore 0630 hrs. Then catch local train to Mysore 0700 - 1000. Two night's stay at hotel.
07 MYSORE - MADURAI. Train: Mysore - Madurai: 1800 - 0745*.
08 MADURAI. Arr Madurai 0745. Overnight stay at hotel.
09 MADURAI - TIRUCHI. Catch morning train from Madurai to Tiruchi: 0645 - 0905. No hotel provided. TIRUCHI - COCHIN. Catch overnight train from Tiruchi - Cochin:1940 - 0540*.
10 COCHIN. Arr Cochin 0540. Three night's stay at Cochin.
13 COCHIN - GOA. Overnight train from Cochin - Goa: 1420 - 0550*.
14 GOA. Arr Goa 0550. Three night's stay in Goa.
17 GOA - BOMBAY. Take Daytine train to Bombay: 1030 - 2145. Trip concludes on arrival in Bombay.
