Varanasi: Bathing ghats of Varanasi are one of greatest images of India. Taking a boat ride along the Ganges in the morning is an experience not to be missed. Other sights include: Kashi Vishwanath temple, Benares Hindu University and a visit to Sarnath (the buddhist pilgrimage point).
Darjeeling: Nestled in the Himalayas excellent views of Kanchenjunga (subject to claer weather conditions), Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (narrow gauge toy train) now classified as a heritage site, Himlayan Mountaineering Institute, trip to Ghoom for the buddhist monastery.
Calcutta: Howrah Bridge, Eden Gardens, Victoria Memorial, a hustle bustle town with trams, taxis and lots of firendly people throughout.

05	UDAIPUR. Arr Udaipur 1025. Two night' stay at hotel.
07	UDAIPUR - JODHPUR - JAISALMER. By road to Jodhpur (Cost not included). Then catch overnight train from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer: 2330 - 0520*.
08	JAISALMER. Arr at 0530. Two night's stay at hotel.
10	JAISALMER - JODHPUR. Overnight train from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur: 2315 - 0520.
11	JODHPUR. Arr Jodhpur 0520. Day in Jodhpur. Hotel not provided.JODHPUR - AGRA. Catch overnight train from Jodhpur - Agra:1945 - 0645*.

Recommended upgrade on standard grade hotels are: Suite rooms at Shahpura House in Jaipur; Lake facing rooms in Jagat Niwas in Udaipur or Udai Kothi in Udaipur; Palace on Ganges in Varanasi.

Note: Hotels in Delhi are now very expensive as Delhi is enjoying a corporate boom. Grand Park Inn is a simple basic hotel but with AC rooms & attached shower/toilet facilities. If you are looking for superior standard, please contact us but it would be considerably more.

Cost Excludes: meals; guides; entrance & camera fees to monuments.

Note: Price are valid for trip conclusion by 30 Sep 2012. There is likely to be a peak season supplement for travel dates which fall between 20 Dec 2011 - 10 Jan 2012.
