 Heritage-On-Wheels
Heritage-On-Wheels is a meter-gauge train and offers a unique opportunity to visit the places in Rajasthan which are off the beaten track. Places such as Nawalgarh and Mandawa the Shekawati region are well worth a visit and are often referred to as 'Open Air Art Gallery' with excellent painted Mansions. Bikaner is known for its excellent Junagarh Fort with its lattice work, Lalgarh Palace and the camel breeding farm. 
Places Covered : Jaipur - Bikaner - Haat - Gajner - Tal Chhapar - Ramgarh - Nawalgarh - Mandawa - Jaipur Itinerary. (The Meter Gauge Heritage on Wheels Train Tour contains 4 cabins per carriage and 2 shower-cum-toilet facilities in each carriage.The train consists of a dining car & bar. It startsevery Tuesday & Friday of the week from Jaipur and ends in Jaipur on every Friday/Monday morning respectively.). Currently the train will be runing from Oct 08 - Dec 08 until further instructions by the Ministry of Railways. The trip is on a full board basis inclusive of local sightseeing at the destinations, rides etc. Travel between the cities is by overnight train. Full day sightseeing at the places of interest in the cities. Meals are arranged on the Heritage on Wheels & sometimes at the hotels en route. Day 01 - Jaipur to board Heritage on Wheels18:30 hrs: Report for check-in to board the Heritage on Wheels. 19:30 hrs: Departure for Bikaner on board Heritage on Wheels. 20:00 hrs: Dinner and Overnight on board Heritage on Wheels. Day 02 - Bikaner 06:00 hrs: Arrival at Bikaner. 07:30 hrs: Breakfast on board Heritage on Wheels. 09:00 hrs: Departure for sight seeing of Jain Temple. 09:20 hrs: Arrival at Temple. 10:00 hrs: Departure from Temple in Tonga for Havelies. 10:10 hrs: Arrival at Havelies. 10:40 hrs: Departure for Fort. 11:00 hrs: Arrival at Fort. 12:30 hrs: Departure from Fort for Shopping / Leisure. 13:50 hrs: Lunch on Board Heritage on Wheels. 15:30 hrs: Departure for Camel Farm . 15:45 hrs: Arrival at Farm. 16:20 hrs: Departure for Lalgargh Palace. 16:50 hrs: Arrival at Lalgargh Palace for High Tea. 17:20 hrs: Departure for Gajner. 18:00 hrs: Arrival at Gajner for dinner. 22:00 hrs: Departure from Gajner. 22:30 hrs: Arrival at Bikaner. 22:30 hrs: Departure for Padiyara. Day 03 - Tal Chhapar & Shekhawati 07:00 hrs: Arrival At Padiyara 07:00 hrs: Departure for Black Buck/Crane Sanctuary. 07:25 hrs: Arrival at Sanctuary 08:30 hrs: Departure for Train 09:00 hrs: Breakfast on Board 09:10 hrs: Departure for Ramgargh 12:15 hrs: Arrival at Ramgarh & Departure for Sight Seeing of Mehnsar 12:45 hrs: Arrival Mehnsar. 13:45 hrs: Departure for Mandawa 14:35 hrs: Arrival at Mandawa for Lunch. 15:35 hrs: Departure for Sight Seeing. 16:10 hrs: Departure for Nawalgargh 17:00 hrs: Arrival at Nawalgarh. 18:00 hrs: Departure for Roop Niwas 18:15 hrs: Arrival at Roop Niwas 19:35 hrs: Arrival at Train, Dinner on Board. Day 04 - Jaipur 06:30 hrs: Arrive at Jaipur by Heritage on Wheels. 07:30 hrs: Breakfast on board Heritage on Wheels. 08:30 hrs: Disembark the Heritage on Wheels. The Heritage-On-Wheels train is run by the Indian Railways in conjunction
with Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation. They reserve the right
to amend the programme due to local conditions. SD Enterprises Ltd does
not accept any liability in this regard.

Cost Includes: stay on a twin share cabin on a full board basis; excursions as mentioned; entrance fees to monuments as mentioned on the itinerary; entrance fees at widlife parks.
Cost Excludes: hotels, transfers & sightseeing in Jaipur either side of the train journey; laundry; camera fees at wildlife parks; personal drinks & extra mineral water; tips; items of a personal nature.
Note: There is likely to be a peak season supplement for Christmas and New Year dates.
Not Included: International air travel.
