Bombay Stopover (3 nights: From £ 120. Prices valid for trip
conclusion by 31 May 2011):
Bombay: This city is: the engine of India; heart of the Indian
cinema (referred to as Bollywood: Indian film factory producing more
films than Hollywood); the home of cricket to many Indians (Take a
walk down the Bombay Maidan, a red turf park where nearly 5 - 10 cricket
matches are played right next to each other); shoppers delight. It
has many sights such as elephanta caves, museums, Marine drive and
a mix of old gothic architechture with buildings such as Victoria
Terminus, Churchgate along with buildings which are typically that
of Bombay. This trip also includes the trip from Bombay
- Goa along the Konkan Railway.
